CONFERENCE 57 CPS members pass vote of confidence on Ajimomuya led executives

The association of Chief Press Secretaries (CPS), on Thursday, passed a vote of confidence on CPS Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuya led executives.

The decision to ratify the existing executives for one more year became imminent as the group prepares for a political campaign and annual media retreat of the group.

CPS Jide Thompson from Otto-Awori and representing CPS from Lagos-West moved the motion that the existing executives be allowed till the end of local government Council election in 2021.

“The present executives should be allowed to act in their respective capacities until the end of local government election in 2021,” he said.

The motion was supported by CPS Tunde Akere and CPS Lanre Oguntoyinbo from Lagos East and Central respectively.

It would be recalled that the association of Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) in the grassroots elect new executives at the group’s annual media retreat.

The annual media retreat, according to information derived from the source would be held in Yaba, later in the year.
