One of the apex leaders in Somolu local government, Leader Ademola Shoga has applauded the visionary leadership of Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’ the chairman of Somolu local government for putting in place accessible infrastructure and rehabilitation of roads in the local government.
Speaking to Somolunews correspondent on Tuesday, he said he was pleased with what Hon. AbdulHamed Salawudeen ‘Dullar’ is doing in Somolu in terms of infrastructural development and road projects. to show that he’s a good leader with good governance in his fold.
He adds “He’s a political personality that sees the need to ensure his people get the dividend of democracy and as such, he’s a great man of honour and democrat who has the interest of his people at heart”.
“It’s a known fact that the importance of good roads and infrastructures in the society cannot be overemphasis as all these go a long way in not only boosting the economy of the community but also give the people the better life they need”.
“Apart from hindering the chances of transporting of goods and services to their various destinations, the bad road also prevent transporters from making enough profit and as well cause a lot of damages to the vehicles plying such roads”. he stated
In the same vein, 2019 Lagos House of Assembly aspirant, Mrs Maryam Owolabi Bada never hesitated to shower encomium on Hon. ‘Dullar’ for embarking on laudable projects that have no doubt put Somolu as one of the model local government in the state.
“Just recently, he laid the foundation for the Primary Health care facility around Bashua Primary school in addition to the functional ones in the local government. I see all these as laudable and fantastic job being executed by ‘Mayor Dullar'”. she explained
“There’s no gainsaying that if Hon. AbdulHamed ‘Dullar’ is given the needed support, he’ll do the “impossible” and transform the Somolu community into a model local government better than when he met it which he had already embarked on”.
Hon. Bada however, enjoined the people of Somolu to give him the total support needed to succeed in completing what he started.
Meanwhile, 22 roads have been completed while 8 roads are still under rehabilitation under the leadership of Hon Abdul Hamed Salau (Dullar) in Somolu just in one tenure include,
