Nigeria born British boxer, Anthony Joshua has shown off his explosive raw power in an incredible Instagram video that sees him throwing left hooks – while sitting down.
The British heavyweight has kept himself in incredible shape during the lockdown, and a recent video posted to his 11.3m Instagram followers has proved that he doesn’t appear to have lost any of his punching power either.
In the clip, Joshua is sitting down in the gym, throwing powerful left hooks at a punching bag without the benefit of the rest of his body movement.
He is generating power solely through twisting his body, repeatedly hitting the punching bag with his left glove.
The clip, which has now been watched close to 2million times, wowed AJ’s loyal fanbase, with one commenting: ‘Left hooks from HELL’.
Another called the London-born boxer the ‘hardest hitter on the planet’ as fans get ready to – hopefully – watch him in action again later this year.
He is expected to take on Tyson Fury in a huge two-fight ‘Battle of Britain’ deal, with Eddie Hearn confirming recently that ‘they’re dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s’.
Joshua was seen this week on holiday in Marbella playfully reacting with a middle finger to a fan who sang ‘there’s only one Tyson Fury’ at him.
The 30-year-old was walking with his entourage when the fan-filmed himself singing the song at AJ, only to get a swift putdown from the heavyweight.
