COVID-19: 1000 additional households benefit from Toyin Gafar Bolowotan relief package in Ikorodu

In the spirit of giving back to the society, the Director-General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Prince Toyin Gafaar, popularly known as Bolowotan,  has again distributed additional 1,000 relief package to the residents of Ikorodu in Lagos State, to cushion the effects of the Stay at home Order. This is coming as the Federal Government has again increased the lockdown period to another two weeks.
While speaking with MegaXpression Community News, Toyin Gafaar, noted that the support is a measure to help mitigate the effects of the lockdown. “The phase two of this food support programme is targeting 1,000 families, unlike the first set which had 500 families. So, this is part of our support for the stay at home (lockdown) to curb the spread of the global health pandemic (COVID-19),” he said.
The DG further revealed that the project would be a continuous one until many households in Ikorodu benefit as the lockdown continues. He equally urged Lagosians to exhibit a high level of responsibility by complying with the State and federal government directives on the stay at home order to end the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
