Akoka-Igbari community village meeting put on hold over coronavirus

A community in Somolu local government area of the state, Akoka-Igbari community after due consultations with the trio of our Chief host and co-host, Alhaji Chief Shakirudeen Agboola Adebayo (Baale Akoka/Igbari), Engineer Pa Jonathan Oluwafolorunso Seton (Chairman ASGAC), Hon Williams Bamidele Lawanson Apex, Immediate Past Sole Administrator Somolu, rising from Adhoc Committee emergency meeting and taken to larger views of other important individuals have decided to put the meeting on hold due to the global pandemic coronavirus.

“Though all precautionary measures have been put in place, in view of the global pandemic coronavirus that’s widely taking over the World when science seems to have woefully failed us for a solution in this tough time, where panic and tensions have taken over the land, we are left with no option than to resolve in this critical decision with immediate effect to put all indigenes, Non-Indigenes, residents, CDAs, religious body, landlord, and invited on notice that the planed ” Akoka-Igbari Community Village Meeting ” slated for tomorrow 21 Saturday march 2020 is hereby put on hold till ban order and directive from the governor, H:E Mr Babajide Olusola Sanw-Olu to the commissioner of police to disperse citizens and residents gathering be it social or otherwise be lifted and cease to subsist”.

However, the Chairman Adhoc Committee, Comrade Oluwarotimi Oluyede thanked residents, CDAs, and All Adhoc Committees and individuals for the overwhelming financial support, donations, understanding, energy and time spent so far a well-acknowledged effort.

In the same vein, tendered deserved an apology for the inconveniences this may have caused residents and all our invited officials saying, we are indeed sorry, this is beyond our control.
