Edo Sports Festival: Team Lagos Football Coach Adeshina unveils team list

The head coach of Team Lagos male Football team, Yusuf Adeshina on Sunday released team list comprising of 18 players that will feature for the state in the forthcoming National Sports Festival scheduled for Edo State later this month.

Among the players that were listed included goalkeepers John Amah and Isiaka Basit.

Others were defenders Babatunde Adewunmi, Sebestian Godwin, Ukaki Endurance, Chemizie Maduku, Adebayo Moshood and .Chinonso.

The midfielders included Oseni Azeez, Olaniyan Olatomi, Liameed Quadri, Issac Saviour and Wisdom Emmanuel.

While the attackers are Odibo Godwin, Issa Saheed, Ubani Wisdom, Hassan Akinkunmi and Akanni Rahmon.

Coach Adeshina last week after a friendly match boasted that his team are on an unbeaten run since the South-West Zonal elimination of National Sports Festival held in Lagos won by the side.

Adeshina declared this after his team walloped the Friday Elaho tutored side Emmydinho Football Club of Okota 6-1 in a preparatory friendly match played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.

The dark-skinned coach said his team have played more than 10 matches without any defeat and urged his players to give their best in their remaining matches before he released his final list which he concluded this Sunday.

“My players have done well in their friendly matches played so far and I think the team is waxing stronger day by day, we are unstoppable and we are going to Festival with high expectations.

“Like I said before, my target is to win gold for Lagos and I still stand by it”.

“I thank the Lagos State Football Association (FA) for their support and I promise to deliver at the sports Festival” boasted the Team Lagos Male Football Team Coach.
