The veritable admirers of the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hameed Salawu (Dullar) in Ward E, Somolu gathered at Okemeta Primary School to witnessed the proceedings, as Hon (Mrs.) Maryam Owolabi-Bada was newly pronounced Ward E Coordinator and honoured with the flag on behalf of the Council Chairman, by his upright associate, Hon. Idris Kazeem (Kazo of London).
The unanimous decision which was in line and part of the collective agenda’ the initiative laid as guidelines at the inaugural consensus back in October, prompted the reward of a dedicated ambassador, who portrayed good character in channelling the mission of the initiative to the community and most especially, setting aside personal interest or beliefs to work effectively as a good team player with others.
Speaking at the program, was the initiative’s Grand Patron, Hon Mrs Mariam Salawu, who enlivened the members to remain calm and focused, prior to the dissimilar tittle-tattle used publicly by unknown individuals to denigrate the initiative’s authenticity in the host ward.
She also assured the members who came out in their large numbers to graced the meeting of her massive support as the Chairperson of Somolu Local Government, with the Director-General, Prince Adeeso (Obama), Hon. Rasak Tajudeen (Baba-Oja) and Hon. Segun Adelana (Aluta) promising the same gleefully. The quartet then rewarded the members with Cash Prizes among other requisite gifts the hosts (The appointee, Mr Ismail Shodipo, Mrs Adeshina and Comrade Wasiu A. Badaru) provided as support; this then energized their dancing steps with unwonted scope, strolling their earnest excitements in appreciation.
The pronouncement which was made by Hon. Rasak Tajudeen at the behest of the Somolu LG Honcho, invigorated the women’s folk to rejoice with their newly appointed coordinator blithely and was verified by the likes of Hon. Olumide Akins, the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Alhaji Sikiru, Ward E APC Leader, Comrade Raheem Afees, Mr Ladi Dabiri, Mr Fatai Adeniji from Ward C and other Ward E APC Executives.
Among other Ambassadors present are, the Deputy Director-General, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, Hon. Afolarin Olubiyi, Mr Liadi Ajao, Mrs Oladipupo Olayinka, Mr Idowu Adebonojo, Comrade Olalekan Fasasi, Hon. Mobolaji Teluwo, Mr Lincoln Osho, Mr Abayomi Oluboye, Mr Elliot Olusegun, Comrade T.M. Ademola, Mrs Rabiu Omolara and Comrade Olonade Adedamola.
In conclusion, Prince Adeeso (Obama) lauded the hosts and their members for showing their undying love to Hon. Dullar and reminded the members of the imminent monumental empowerment program and other usual ones’ the Council Chairman is expected to embark on by February this year, as stipulated.
