One of the staunch members of Somolu All Progressive Congress (APC) and Lagos House of Assembly aspirant, Mrs Maryam Owolabi Bada has urged the people of Somolu local council to fully support the incumbent Chairman Hon. Abdul Hammed Salawudeen (Dullar) as she endorsed her boss for the second term in office.
According to Bada who doubles as the Assistant Woman leader, Dullar Continua Group, the endorsement is based on the numerous achievements in the development of the community which could be seen in every aspect of human life.
She described Dullar as a man who is focused on the all-round development of Somolu local government.
“The giant strides of Hon. Dullar can be seen and felt in areas of Infrastructural Development, Health sector, Education, Sports, Empowerment, Agriculture & Social Services, etc.
At the moment, Durosinmi Street which is the street that inhabits the local council is being rehabilitated. Some other rehabilitated streets include Onafowokan Street, Bailey Street, Awe Crescent, Shipeolu link, Eyo Street, Ovie-hamada Street, New Balogun Street, Abeokuta Street, Akinsanya Street, Opeloyeru Street, Akeju Street and Ogati Street.
The projects which commenced recently would be completed and commissioned before this year runs out. This would ease the pressure and greatly reduce traffic gridlock within Somolu and it’s environs. Ogunnaike Street, Adedoyin Street, Ibiyemi Street, Basua Road, Bolaji Omupo are also under rehabilitation, while all the rehabilitated roads are now in good motorable condition.”
Bada made the declaration ahead of the Walk for Dullar Continua initiative which is billed to take place in Somolu community on Saturday, December 7th, 2019.
The initiative, according to the group, the ‘walk for Dullar’ is in support of his second term and recognition of Dullar’s selfless service to the people of Somolu Community for him to continue his good work for another term.
She continued “I have no doubt in my mind that Hon. Abdul Hammed Salawudeen will secure the ticket for his second term in office because of trust people have in him”. she stated
