Beach soccer fans can start getting ready for three days of intense and exciting games as
Copa Lagos rolls out its 2019 tournament schedule. Globally acclaimed Beach Soccer Event,
‘Copa Lagos’, at a press conference on Tuesday, October 8th, announced this year’s
the tournament will kick off from November 1st to November 3rd, 2019, at Eko Atlantic, Victoria
Island, Lagos.
Defending World Champions Brazil will be making their second appearance at Copa Lagos
with 5-time African champions Senegal also set to play alongside 2-time African champions
Nigeria Super Sand Eagles with England completing the foursome. There will also be a Club
The challenge between three Nigerian Clubs Pepsi Football Academy, Kebbi Beach Soccer
Club, Gidi Sharks of Lagos and invited Ghanaian Club, Sunset Sports Keta.
Since inception in 2011, Copa Lagos has grown from being the first-ever international beach
soccer event in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa to being recognized as one of the most
prominent sporting and entertainment events in the World.
In addition to the tournament, this year’s edition will feature a kids arena, fan zone for the
football lovers, a food court with amazing vendors, VIP lounge, After parties and our
traditional Celebrity matches.
Speaking at the press conference, Kinetic Sports acting CEO Mr Sola Aiyepeku said,

October 26th, 2019.
