Somolu standstill as LG boss, Nollywood actors, others present at Oduola’s 8 days (Fidau) prayer

9th of July 2019 will not be forgotten in a hurry with the banquet hall of Somolu local government,
the venue of 8 days Fidau prayer for Hon. Taiwo Ahmed Oduola filled up to its capacity as top
All Progressive Congress (APC) faithful and Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) registered their presence as a way of showing love and sympathise with the family.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman, Board of Trustee of the Association, Prince Jide Kosoko described Hon. Taiwo Oduola (Alaborn) as an articulate and straight forward fellow who’ll stop at nothing to ensure certain tasks are fulfilled.

“Believe or not, Taiwo Oduola was a fellow actor who had contributed immensely to the growth and development of our great association (TAMPAN) at every level. He was indeed a goal-getter”.

“Let me also let you know that Taiwo served me wholeheartedly to the extent that some don’t believe he was a member of my family. He was a complete gentleman that’ll not be compromised. He has deputized me on several occasion and we also wined and dined together as brothers during his lifetime”. he disclosed

“Though nobody is perfect, he has his own weakness but take it or leave it, Oduola was a thoroughbred actor and administrator one can boast of any day, anytime who deserved more than what we’re offering him as service today”. he concluded

In the same vein, the Governor of the association at the state level, Chief Mrs Oyewunmi Esusu eulogized Oduola for his steadfastness, courage and service to the association and all other constituencies he belongs to all in a bid to ensure there’s peace and stability.

“No doubt about the fact that Mr Taiwo Oduola (Alaborn) was a dedicated individual who’s ready to help others when and where necessary. An embodiment of love, loyalty and character. A trustworthy and hardworking fellow he was and very religious. H wouldn’t look down on anyone or people. Surely, we’ll miss him dearly.”

Prominent at the event include the chairman of the council, Hon. Abdul-Ahmed Salaudeen (Dullar) and his cabinet members, Ward chairmen, Women leaders and some officials of the council.

Others include the President of Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Mr Bolaji Amusan (Mr Latin), ace producers and Directors, Mr Abbey Lanre and Yomi Fash Lanso, Veteran actor, Olusegun Akinremi (Chief Kanran) and other chairmen from other local government in the state.

Meanwhile, several songs and drama were performed in his honour to the admiration of the guests in attendance.
