Alade fire outbreak: Hon. Rotimi Olowo commiserates with traders

The lawmaker representing Somolu Constituency 1, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Olowo Rotimi has commiserated with the traders of Alade Market whose properties were destroyed in the inferno that gutted the market early hour of today.
The lawmaker expressed his heartfelt consolation to the victims when he visited the scene of the unfortunate incident this morning. Olowo who expressed pain over the sad incident stated that he would as a matter of urgency raised the tragic incident on the floor of the house in order to draw the intervention of the state government.
He stated further that he would team up with the local government to perfect a rescue plan on how they will relieve the victims of the fire outbreak of the devastating effect of the loss.
Reacting, the Iya Oloja-General of Somolu Markets, Mrs. Modupe Olufojude thanked the lawmaker for coming to sympathize with them and appealed to him to accelerate actions that would relieve those whose shops and goods were largely affected.
It was reported that the fire outbreak occurred as a result of a power surge which was ignited around 1 am immediately when power was restored to the area.
With Hon. Olowo at the scene were the leader of the house, Hon Yomi Osunkoya, his Deputy, Hon. Jide Giwa, the Majority Leader, Hon. Abdul Lateef Muibi among other sympathizers.
