The youths have spoken, the genuine agitators amongst them have been peaceful and committed to the cause for a better Nigeria. No doubt they are bad eggs amongst them but the good eggs are speaking the minds of many.
For 60 years Nigeria has lived a lie and beneficiaries of the lie have continued to benefit by killing opportunities that unite us. The Nigerian lie has been enshrined in our faulty constitution over the years to kill our opportunities. Genuine agitators amongst #ENDSARSNOW protesters have moved to protect Nigeria by exposing this 60 years age-longed lie. May the souls of our heroic youths that died in the cause of building a better Nigeria Rest in Peace. Amen
Those calling for anarchy and disintegration of Nigeria and the fifth columnist that is sponsoring violence to undermine the genuine agitations of protesting youths are beneficiaries of a failed Nigeria. They are sponsored to incite a revolution that will plunge us into anarchy common to the situation in Libya, Somalia, Mali, Sudan, Afghanistan, Israel, etc.
Revolution has never profited any nation. Revolutions only empower opportunists that negotiate their interest in the blood of their citizens. Revolution empowers foreigners to sell arms and give access to the international community to have unhindered access to a country’s mineral resources. The case of Libya, Afghanistan, and Sudan should be an eye-opener for those calling for the disintegration of Nigeria. Revolution reduces the generality of citizens to slavery and penury. Democratic change can only come by-elections or process in accord with the rule of law and not sponsored violence against a legitimate government
Nigerian youths have passed a strong message that all is not well for Nigeria and Nigerians. It is time for Buhari to identify genuine agitations of Nigerian youths, listen to their agitations, and work with them to build institutions that will redefine our democracy, curb impunity at all levels, instill sanity, and restructure Nigeria on equal grounds
Buhari has security information, he now has a ready army of Nigerian youths to tell them his frustration and mobilize them to defend his agenda. We are aware of how his efforts at community policing, Local Government autonomy, independence of State Houses of Assembly and Judiciary, etc have been frustrated by politicians in power.
It is time for Buhari to enter into negotiations with Nigerians to drive his dream. The Nigerian youths should be Buhari’s best friends if he is most successful in driving his change agenda to the Next Level.
Buhari has an opportunity better than any other President. The youths are ready for a new Nigeria. He must not listen to the fifth columnists that are causing mayhem to discredit the genuine agitations of Nigerian youths.
Buhari must steal the show by working with the youths to change Nigeria and write his name on the gold of history. The agitations of the youths are genuine despite instances of hoodlums hijacking the process in some places. Hoodlums sponsored by beneficiaries of a failed Nigeria must not be given an opportunity to destroy the great opportunity that Buhari has to write his name on the sand of history
