Speaking during the ceremony, some of the guests extolled the virtues of Madam Kale, noting that she lived an impactful life worthy of emulation. They stressed that her legacies of love, discipline and kindness would continue to remain indelible in the hearts of those she left behind.
The burial ceremony featured special prayers, musical performances and cultural displays, which added glamour to the memorable occasion. Guests were also entertained lavishly with assorted delicacies by one of the favourite caterers in the Lagos metropolis, Prestige Party Concerns, as the celebration continued in a serene atmosphere.
Many attendees described the event as a true reflection of the respect and admiration the late Madam Mojisola Ruth Abeni Kale commanded during her lifetime, while commending the family for organising a befitting and well-coordinated final burial ceremony in her honour.
Present at the event were traditional chiefs, political elites, businessmen and women, community leaders as well as notable personalities from within and outside Lagos State, including the immediate past Chairman of Somolu Local Government, AbdulHamed Salawu and his wife, Mrs. Florence Salawu; the incumbent Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Lateef Ashimi; the Leader of Somolu Legislative Council, Tunde James Oyeyiola; the Chief of Staff to the Council Chairman, Hon. Sodiq Adeeso popularly known as Obama; Hon. Hameed Jinaid; party chieftains, market leaders, youth groups and several associates of the Kale family.
