Mayoress Princess Samiat Bada celebrates Onikosi of Ikosi, Kosofeland on his birthday

The Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada (MNIM), has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Alamu Kehinde Oloyede Onikosi (Edun Arobadi I), the Onikosi of Ikosi Kosofeland, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a heartfelt goodwill message released to mark the celebration, Princess Bada described the revered monarch as a father figure, mentor, and guiding light whose reign has continued to exemplify wisdom, dignity, and visionary leadership.

She praised Oba Onikosi’s invaluable contributions to the preservation of traditional institutions and the promotion of peace, unity, and cultural heritage within Ikosi Kosofeland and the wider Kosofe Local Government Area.

According to the Mayoress, the monarch’s tenure as the Chairman, Council of Obas and Chiefs, Kosofe LGA, has further strengthened traditional governance, enhanced communal harmony, and inspired both leaders and youths through his humility, accessibility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.

“Your reign stands as a beacon of wisdom and honour. Through your exceptional stewardship, our cultural heritage has been preserved and elevated, while generations continue to draw inspiration from your exemplary leadership,” Princess Bada stated.

She offered prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, divine favour, and longevity, expressing confidence that his authority would keep fostering peace, progress, and pride across Ikosi Kosofeland and beyond.

Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, who also holds the traditional titles of Queen Mother Yeyesewa of Ilara Kingdom, Yeyeoge of Ijanikin Land, and Oluomo of Kosofe Land, reaffirmed her respect and loyalty to the royal father, wishing him many more fruitful years on the throne.

She concluded by praying for sustained wisdom and strength for the monarch as he continues to lead his people with distinction.
