SHIRO:Council Chairman spearheads major road reconstruction in Fadeyi Community

Following the prompt approval of new road construction projects last month by the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, the reconstruction of Shiro Road in Fadeyi has begun to address its deteriorating condition.
This crucial move is a vital part of the Chairman’s commitment towards enhancing community infrastructure, and will further entrench the on-going infrastructural projects across the eight political wards of Somolu, serving as another essential way of improving grassroot development, especially during this rainy season.
The key road connects to Olayinka Street and Morocco Road, and it also serves as a critical link to the Ikorodu Main Road.
The Chairman stressed the crucial importance of reconstructing Shiro Road to significantly ease movement for the local inhabitants and commuters who rely on this route daily and to boost businesses in the Fadeyi community.
Meanwhile, residents have also expressed their appreciation for the Chairman’s decisive action, viewing it as a clear indication that their concerns are being prioritised.
