The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the continuation of its membership e-registration exercise, which will now run until Sunday, February 8, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure and update its membership database.
According to Hon. Ashimi, the exercise is a critical step in consolidating the party’s internal democracy, enhancing transparency, and ensuring that all committed members are duly captured in the party’s digital register.
“This e-registration exercise is an opportunity for both new and existing members to identify with the APC and be fully recognised formally. We encourage all eligible residents of Somolu to participate actively before the deadline”. The chairman said.
He further stressed that all dedicated APC members across the eight political wards in Somolu are strongly encouraged to revalidate their membership status, noting that accurate records are essential for effective party organisation, mobilisation, and future electoral planning.
Interested participants are expected to meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 years and above
Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
Must possess a valid Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) with VIN
Email address (optional)
Party officials coordinating the exercise across the wards assured residents of a smooth and transparent process, urging them to comply fully with the requirements to avoid delays.
The Somolu APC leadership described the ongoing e-registration as part of a broader vision to foster inclusive participation and strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots, in line with the ideals of collective development and progressive governance.
Residents and party members are therefore advised to complete their registration or revalidation on or before Sunday, February 8, 2026, to ensure full participation in party activities going forward.
