Former Lagos lawmaker, Hon. Rotimi Olowo bags C & S Award of Honour

The Members of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, recently celebrated Hon. Rotimi Olowo with an award of honour.

The award which was given to him at the 10degree event centre, Lagos, was part of activities to celebrate the Church’s 10th Annual General Conference.

Presenting the award, the General Overseer of the Love of Christ Generation (C & S) Church, London, Revd. Mother, Esther Abimbola Ajayi, stated that the award was given to Hon. Rotimi Olowo in recognition of his outstanding support to the less privileged in the society.

Receiving the award, Hon. Rotimi Olowo expressed his unfeigned appreciation to the almighty, maintaining that it was a privilege to receive such an award. He stated that the honour bestowed on him would continue to spur him to be steadfast in the work of God and humanity.

As a grassroots Politician, he has facilitated huge projects for Somolu as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly which includes scholarships, roads, schools, vocational training, employment, and empowerment shared among his constituents and Bariga which falls under Somolu Constituency 2 but in Somolu Federal Constituency by extension.

Hon. Olowo Rotimi Emmanuel is one of the most influential, resourceful and vibrant members of the Lagos State House of Assembly who has represented Somolu Constituency I and shown interest in representing Somolu Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, the seat presently occupied by a former council chairman of Somolu Local Government and Lagos State Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Ademorin Kuye.

Meanwhile, the Four-Star General as fondly called by his people has pledged to dedicate his entire life to service the people, even after vacating his office with the completion of his tenure on May 29, 2023.
