Lagos business woman donates medical equipment to Somolu PHC

As a way of contributing her quota to the well-being of the people of the Somolu community, one of the business tycoons and founder/CEO of the Premium Height Integrated Solution Ltd in the state, Chief Mrs. Ashabi Morounranti Adams has donated medical items to the Ijebu-Tedo Primary Health Center (PHC), Somolu, Lagos stating that the items will not only bring about efficient and sustainable healthcare delivery system but will also save lives when and where necessary.

The Ife High Chief in her statement during an interview session in her office recently said she sees the donation of medical items as a way of giving back to the society noting that such gesture has become part of her lifestyle which was instil in her by her maternal mother while growing up as a child with a creed that says ‘kindness is currency that’ll never go out of circulation’.

She went further, “In the last few months in the name of my foundation, we’ve launched and donated the ‘Back-To-School’ initiative where several school Bags, Sandals, Books and other writing materials to assist parents and students who just resumed academic sessions which will go a long way in reducing the burden on the parents and as well assist the students in their academic pursuit”.

“And repeating such gesture in the area of medical intervention will not be a bad idea because we’ve also become part of the Somolu community and if we’re approached with such a request, it behoves on us to attend to their needs as demanded and that’s exactly what we’ve just done as a company and as an individual. It’s just a way of being kind to the people especially when you find yourself in a community, it’s important to leave a positive mark and this is the fourth time we’re reaching out to the community”.

“There’s the creed I live by and that’s ‘Kindness’. Ever since I was a child, my mum has inculcated in us that you just have to be kind. It’s the currency that never goes out of fashion and it’s a currency one can spend anywhere in the world that is devoid of race, tribe, age, and colour, and don’t be surprised that it will come back to you when you least expected”.

The Cultural Ambassador to His Imperial Majesty; Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Chief Ashabi Morounranti Adams, However, promised to continue to reach out to the people and the community wherever she finds herself in order to make life more meaningful when and where necessary.

Meanwhile, in his response, the Somolu CDC Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Tella Inuolajin, Mrs. Agboola Olufunke Mary, and Mr. Zibor Williams of Community Aid Development Foundation (CADEF) who received the medical items on behalf of the Ijebu-Tedo Primary Health Center (PHC) never hesitated to shower praises on Chief Ashabi for her unflinching support while enjoining other elites in the community to follow the exemplary gesture of the donor and contribute their quota to the growth and development of Somolu Community in order to move the community to the next level.
