Ogunbadejo resident of former Somolu/Bariga PDP chairman, Hon. Niyi Osibemekun popularly known in the political as well as business arena as ‘Jackal’ was a cynosure of all eyes as top political gladiators, friends, and family showed up in celebration of his 59th birthday anniversary.
Although, the low-key birthday bash had guests from nooks and crannies of the Lagos metropolis strolling in batches to wine and dine to the birthday boy’s health signaling their show of love for him.
Speaking to Somolu Newspaper correspondent, one of his bosom friends and brother, Mr. Darocha Seyi Alex described the ‘birthday boy’ as a committed political icon, caring father, husband, and brother who loved young and old around him.
“Incidentally, we’ve been good friends for over 40 to 50 years. He’s a very objective person and a good man who doesn’t joke with his family. Everything has been good for him to have gone this far in life, he must have been very calculative.”
“I wish him many more years, best of luck in good health and sound financial condition.”
Guests at the birthday bash include the House of Assembly member representing Somolu constituency I, Hon. Rotimi Olowo Emmanuel, the former Sole Administrator of Somolu local government, Hon. Bamidele Williams Lawanson, one of the staunch political leaders in the community, Pa. Omotayo, the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Ladi Omifare (Omoluabi).
Others are his long-time friend, Mr. Darocha Oluwaseyi Alex, the CDA chairman of Akanni, Aiyepe, Duru, and Ogunbadejo Street, Engr. Olanrewaju Odujoko, Mr. Rasheed Bere (Apase), Hon. Ade Adebambo, Engr. Biodun Hussein, Hon. Oluwatosin Osinowo, Mr. Sikiru Adebanjo Idowu (Major), and Hon. Adewale Idowu.
