Somolu standstill as Olowo Rotimi rallies support for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu

He continued, “I doubt if there’s anybody that is more popular than me here in Somolu /Bariga axis, that’s why l have to come out to join the people in campaigning for Asiwaju. I’ve forgiven people who offended me politically because the election is just a few weeks now, it can affect the polls if l stay away, l believe in Asiwaju, l have to campaign for him”.

“If you have a President that is responsible and responsive, we shouldn’t be talking about money at this critical period of our lives, he made a reckless statement that really affected people, we have a lot of money already in the Central Bank, the one in the hand you said they cannot spend it, isn’t it ridiculous, how do you expect these people in the rural areas who have no banking experience or access to the internet, and ATM machines to survive in the next 60 days, these are the people who voted for us, l must say that our leaders have failed us, and that is why we have to vote for a man who has the fear of God and humanity in his heart, the man that has the knowledge, the intellectual capacity, the unifier who has the uncommon capacity to bring intellectuals together, you know what he did as a governor of Lagos State, and can do better as a President of Nigeria.”

Olowo was very livid with the leadership of the party for their insensitivity and failure at the national level, particularly at this critical time when many people are caged financially as a result of unpopular monetary policies that put them in serious financial difficulty.
