It was a pleasant moment on Sunday 26th June 2022 for families and members of Mount of Peace Cherubim and Seraphim Church at Ogunbadejo Street in the Somolu area of the state as they held an annual family harvest and thanksgiving service in appreciation of God’s faithfulness.
The annual harvest tagged “Rejoice in the Lord always” which was held at the church auditorium had top spiritual fathers, Mother-in-Israels, and invited guests from far and near in attendance.
While speaking to Somolu News, the Host Pastor, Rev. Apostle Prophet J. Towolawi said the annual harvest and thanksgiving service was not only to feast but to also give thanks to the Lord for His blessings and faithfulness over the church members, their relatives, Somolu community, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
He continued, “We cannot but give thanks to the Lord of host for giving us the opportunity to witness another faithful and glorious year which is the reason why we’re here celebrating”.
“We also see this as a way of uniting and rejoicing with one another as one big family which translates to a healthy society as the case may be”.
“He’s the merciful God that deserves to be worshipped. His grace endures forever and we’ll continue to serve Him because He’s the Lord of the host that’ll live forever”. He stated.
Meanwhile, in his sermon, the guest Speaker, Most/Sup/Ap. Dr. Taiwo Hassan (a.k.a Baba Majemu) enjoined the Christian faithful to trust in God, be their brother’s keeper and always give thanks in all situations they find themselves in.
Rev. Towolawi in his closing remarks prays for God’s intervention in the nation especially as the nation inch towards the 2023 general election scheduled to begin from February to March.
