The chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde has extended Ramadan greetings to the Muslim ummah in his domain and the world at large.
“On this very special day which marks the beginning of a special month where the blessings of God are unlimited, I beseech you, our Muslims not to be fazed by the unfortunate circumstances we are forced to deal with as a result of the pandemic that has halted activities all over the world. Rather, see this as an opportunity to draw closer to the almighty with as many good deeds as you can manage. Remember humanity, pray for the world, pray for Nigeria, pray for Lagos State, and by extension, pray for our darling Olorunda LCDA.
“Remember that the Almighty God is everywhere, so make your supplication to him in the four walls of your homes. By so doing, you are also making a sacrifice for humanity.
He, however, made a passionate appeal to his people to continue to practise social distancing and proper hygiene.
“It is in fact recommended that you observe your prayers at home during this lockdown period. If we all abide, we can beat the virus sooner and normal activities can resume”.
He offered supplication to Almighty Allah accept prayers and bring an end to this pandemic for peace and love of God to reign supreme in homes and the world at large.
