A Security outfit, Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Ogun State Command has arrested two men, Fatai Shefiu and Lajuwomi Ogunleye and a woman who killed their son, a seven-year-old boy for rituals.

The report was sent to Falcon Times recently through the Public relations department of the command.

Falcon Times gathered that one of the suspects, Lajuwomi Ogunyele is the stepfather to the victim and his wife Taiwo whom he recently married is the mother of the boy.

VGN personnel at Iwopin got the information and immediately swung into action in which the suspects were apprehended.

The victim was killed on 21st of April 2020 when his stepfather forced him to smoke cannabis known as Indian hemp. After a while, the victim was nowhere to be found.

The neighbours felt that something bad has happened and immediately called the VGN officers to help investigate the matter, after interrogation, the suspects confessed that the boy is dead and the body has been taken to the real father in Sagamu for burial but was later discovered that the trio connived together to bury the boy secretly.

When the boy was to be exhumed, it was discovered that he was buried vertically (standing).

The suspects have since been handed over to the police DPO at Iwopin police station
